2nd May 2007 Windsurfing: Ynyslas Estuary Wind Direction: NE Wind Stength: F5-6 then F4-5 Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: warm Sea Temperature: Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: First session in ages and first outing for new Fanatic Eagle. Looked like a F5-6 when I arrived but didn't feel too solid so rigged 5.8m. First run out found that the straps were a bit too tight so back in to adjust and tighten the screws also. Wind was dropping off so I put up the 6.9m and headed out to the speed channel. Had fun trying the board out, it's very easy to sail, I can gybe and tack it so can concentrate on improving technique in those areas. |
